Luceplan Mesh D80 Wireless led suspension lamp

Luceplan Mesh D80 Wireless is a LED suspension lamp designed by Francisco Gomez Paz in 2018 for Luceplan. With a diameter of 80 cm, it features an almost transparent structure composed of a network of flexible steel and polycarbonate cables, at the intersections of which 50 W LED sources are positioned, delivering a 2700 K warm white light temperature and a CRI 90 colour rendering index. The result is a design piece with a strong scenographic impact, in which light becomes the true protagonist of the space.

The Wireless version offers complete freedom in light management thanks to a sophisticated electronic board integrated into the ceiling canopy, which allows interaction with the lamp via the dedicated Luceplan Mesh App, available for iOS and Android. Through the app, it is possible to switch one or more luminous points on individually or collectively, orient the light in space and create personalised emotional scenarios. Up to 6 presets can be programmed and recalled instantly, and dynamic scenes can be set with a simple tap on screen. The connection runs over 2.4 GHz WiFi, with the option to schedule on/off switching remotely. The lamp is also dimmable and must be connected to a normally open button for light adjustment and to an on/off switch. With a protection rating of IP20, it is intended exclusively for indoor use, making it an ideal choice for the living room or for high-end residential and contract environments where lighting becomes an architectural element. The lamp is compatible with EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP voltages (220–240 V) and is available with suspension cables in five lengths: 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 metres. The Wireless kit and ceiling canopy are included. As the designer himself stated: "I set out to create a lamp starting from this capacity of spatial decomposition of the LEDs, distributing them in such a way as to optimise the diffusion of light, but above all with the intention of giving each of these points independence."
