Luceplan Malamata brass floor lamp

Luceplan Malamata is a floor lamp with a distinctive personality, designed by studio Shulab for the Luceplan brand. Its name derives from the Hebrew word meaning "up and down", a direct reference to the mechanism that makes it unique: a counterweight activated by a button triggers a spring that allows the shaft to slide vertically, enabling free adjustment of the diffuser's height. The structure is crafted in metal with a brass finish, while the opal spherical diffuser with a 22 cm diameter delivers a diffused light emission that is soft and enveloping.

Thanks to its versatility and sculptural silhouette, Malamata adapts elegantly to both the living room and the bedroom: ideal next to armchairs and sofas as a reading or ambient light. The lamp is compatible with LED light sources with an E14 socket — not included, with a maximum diameter of 40 mm — and features an integrated driver, operates on a universal voltage of 100-240 V, and is dimmable, allowing precise control of light intensity. With an overall height of 150 cm, a width of 96 cm and a base of 38 cm, Malamata combines functionality, modernity and refinement in a single design object.
