Luceplan Malamata black floor lamp is a designer floor lamp created by studio Shulab for Luceplan, combining functionality, modernity and elegance in a single lighting solution. The name Malamata comes from the Hebrew word meaning "up and down", a direct reference to its distinctive mechanism: a counterweight activated by a button that triggers a spring, allowing the shaft to slide vertically and position the diffuser at the desired height, either parallel or diagonal to the floor. The structure is entirely crafted in metal with a refined black finish, featuring a spherical opal diffuser of Ø 22 cm that produces a soft, diffused light emission for a warm and enveloping atmosphere.

Thanks to its versatility, Malamata fits naturally into a variety of residential settings: it is ideal in the living room next to armchairs and sofas as a reading or ambient light, and equally at home in a bedroom or study. The lamp is compatible with LED light sources with E14 socket — not included, with a maximum diameter of Ø 40 mm — and supports an input voltage of 100-240 V, making it suitable for any domestic installation. The dimmable function, managed through an integrated driver, allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired mood. With a height of 150 cm, a width of 96 cm and a base of 38 cm, Malamata offers a balanced and sophisticated visual presence. The IP20 rating and insulation class II confirm its suitability for safe indoor use. It is also available in a brass finish version, for those seeking a warmer and more precious aesthetic.
