Luceplan Illan led suspension lamp

Luceplan Illan is a uniquely distinctive LED suspension lamp, designed by Zsuzsanna Horvath for the brand Luceplan. Crafted from FSC-certified plywood, its structure is born from a precise laser-cutting process that draws thin, equidistant threads from the wooden panel, creating a dense yet softly fluid texture. Wood, as a living and ever-changing material, generates discontinuous shades and grain patterns that make each piece truly one of a kind, finished in natural birch. The integrated LED, with a colour temperature of 2700 K warm white and a CRI 90 colour rendering index, delivers a diffused, enveloping light output of exceptional quality.

Designed for interior spaces with a strong visual identity, Illan is ideal for the living room, the kitchen, and any open-plan residential or contract environment where a luminaire of bold aesthetic character is desired. Once installed — with the included Ø 24 cm ceiling rose — the lamp appears to float weightlessly, lending lightness and depth to the space. Its dimmability (phase-cut or push/DALI) allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit any moment of the day, creating a consistently relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The universal input voltage of 100–240 V, compatible with EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP standards, together with insulation class I and a protection rating of IP20, confirms its suitability for indoor use. Suspension cables are adjustable from a minimum of 40 cm to a maximum of 300 cm, offering considerable installation flexibility.

Illan is available in three sizes, each with calibrated power and luminous flux: Illan 60 — Ø 60 × 40 cm, 1.8 kg, LED 25 W, 1437 lm; Illan 80 — Ø 80 × 50 cm, 2.4 kg, LED 32 W, 1603 lm; Illan 100 — Ø 100 × 65 cm, 3.2 kg, LED 40 W, 2052 lm. The choice of diameter allows the lamp to be tailored to the proportions of the space, while the elegance of the design and the quality of the diffused light remain unchanged.
