Luceplan Counterbalance led wall lamp

Luceplan Counterbalance is a LED wall lamp designed by Daniel Rybakken in 2012, a contemporary design piece that transforms the physical principle of balance into a compelling aesthetic gesture. The aluminium structure revolves around a toothed-wheel balancing system: the protruding arm — approximately two metres long — is supported and stabilised by a counterweight that allows it to be freely positioned and held at various angles in space. At the end of the arm sits a small adjustable cap housing the integrated 16 W LED source, capable of delivering both direct and indirect light emission depending on the chosen orientation.

Thanks to its sculptural nature and fluid movement, Counterbalance adapts elegantly to both the living room and the bedroom, where it serves simultaneously as a functional lighting element and a striking visual presence. The lamp is available in Black and Red finishes, both suited to contemporary interiors or to creating a refined contrast in more neutral settings. The integrated step dimmer (0% / 50% / 100%) allows light intensity to be adjusted without any external accessories, tailoring the atmosphere to different needs. The 2700 K colour temperature, combined with a CRI 90 colour rendering index, produces a warm and natural light that enhances materials and surfaces. A luminous flux of 598 lm ensures effective illumination without being overwhelming. Compatibility with input voltages between 100 and 240 V, an IP20 protection rating, and insulation class III complete a product designed for residential and representative indoor environments.
