Louis Poulsen VL Ring Crown chandelier

VL Ring Crown by Louis Poulsen is a multiple suspension chandelier with a rich historical legacy and refined Scandinavian elegance. Designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen, the original design was never put into production. Officially reintroduced in 2019, the chandelier faithfully revives the historic designs and materials of the original. The structure features untreated polished brass combined with three-layer mouth-blown opal glass shades in glossy white, which diffuse a soft and enveloping light throughout the room.

The chandelier is available in three distinct versions defined by the number of shades and overall dimensions: the 3-shade version measures 550 × 233 × 550 mm, the 5-shade version 690 × 233 × 690 mm, and the 7-shade version reaches 893 × 233 × 893 mm, offering solutions suited to spaces of varying proportions. The total weight of the fixtures is calculated on the average weight of the glass (671 g), with individual variations ranging from 600 to 800 g.
