Louis Poulsen VL Ring Crown chandelier

The design of the VL Ring Crown collection comes straight from the 1940s, the result of architect Vilhelm Lauritzen's design for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen. The original VL Ring Crown from those years was never used, but not long ago a Ring Crown was launched that drew inspiration from the original designs. It was officially reintroduced in 2019 bringing back the original designs and materials of the historic lamp.

VL Ring Crown is made of untreated polished brass with three-layer glossy white mouth-blown opal glass screens. It is a collection that can add an authentic and distinctive touch to the most elegant interiors, as well as diffusing a warm light to gently illuminate contemporary life.

VL Ring Crown in the chandelier version is available in three different size versions: 3-screen, 5-screen and 7-screen.

- Finish: Glossy white opal glass, blown. Satin polished brass, untreated.

- Materials: Opal glass screens. Suspension and rosette in untreated brass that will form a patina over time.

- Dimensions:

• 3 x 40W: 550 x 233 x 550mm 
• 5 x 40W: 690 x 233 x 690mm
• 7 x 40W: 893 x 233 x 893mm

- Mounting: Suspension type: 3 x 0.75mm2 cable. Brass ceiling rose. White textile cable 4 meters long.

- Class: IP20 degree of protection. Insulation class II with grounding.

Brass surfaces are not treated. Over time the surface may therefore change, developing a patina. The total weight of the fixtures is calculated with the average weight of glass (671g). They vary from 600 to 800g.
