Louis Poulsen Toldbod Glass Ceiling Suspension Lamp

Louis Poulsen's design team developed the Toldbod family of lamps. This lighting lamp represents the last concept of the great Danish designer before his death (1984-1967). This white opal glass dome features a truly minimalistic design. The Toldbod pendant directs most of the light downwards, faithful to Poul Henningsen's philosophy of shaping light to illuminate spaces without being dazzling. The opal glass provides uniform and comfortable illumination of the area around the luminaire. The frosted, white-painted interior of the conical lampshade helps to create homogeneous illumination, perfect for oriented lighting and to create an overall atmosphere of the room. Originally, Louis Poulsen based his Toldbod pendant on the principle that the simpler a design, the more versatile it is. The delicate and precise shape of the Toldbod model works very well on its own, but this model is suitable for both an in-line and cluster arrangement, with a single color or a mixed range. Complete with lamp holder, available in two different sizes.
