Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke D600

Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke D600 is one of the most iconic pendant lamps in design history, originally created by Poul Henningsen in 1958 for the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen. Its origins trace back to the PH Septima project, developed between 1927 and 1931, from which Henningsen derived the founding principle of the Artichoke. The aluminium structure holds 72 laser-cut steel leaves arranged in 12 rows of 6 leaves each, mounted on a chrome-plated or laser-cut steel frame. The polished chrome suspension features a 4 m cable (2 x 1 mm²), and the canopy is included in the package, with the driver integrated inside it.

With a diameter of 600 mm and a height of 580 mm, the PH Artichoke Ø600 is designed to illuminate representative spaces, expansive residential environments and high-end contract settings with elegance. The geometry of the leaves ensures 100% glare-free light diffusion, regardless of the viewing angle, distributing light both inward and outward for a uniform and enveloping illumination. It is an outstanding choice for the living room, where it can serve as the aesthetic and functional centrepiece, as well as for executive offices and high-design dining areas. The lamp is available in several finishes — copper, white, black, stainless steel and brass — to suit a wide range of decorative contexts. The integrated LED light source is available in 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures, controllable via DALI or Bluetooth Wireless protocol; an E27/26 version rated at 100W is also available, with the bulb not included. The input voltage is universal (100–240 V, compatible with EU, AUS, USA, UK and JAP standards), with an IP20 protection rating and insulation class I.
