Louis Poulsen PH 80 Portable is a rechargeable battery-powered table lamp belonging to the iconic PH collection by Louis Poulsen, originally created in 1974 as a tribute to Poul Henningsen on what would have been his eightieth birthday. True to the Henningsen multi-shade lighting system, the PH 80 Portable features a three-layer shade in injection-moulded PMMA that diffuses warm, pleasant light while eliminating direct glare. The structure is crafted from die-cast aluminium with an extruded aluminium stem, available in white or high-gloss chrome finish with a base in black or white. The white opal shades are paired with an upper cone available in red — for a warm, enveloping glow — or in an entirely white version, for a clean and elegant aesthetic.

Thanks to its IP44 protection rating and the freedom provided by the integrated rechargeable battery, the PH 80 Portable can be placed wherever desired, both indoors and outdoor, on tables, terraces or any surface where a fixed cable would be impractical. It also adapts beautifully to the living room or the bedroom, where the quality of light plays a key role in shaping the atmosphere. The integrated 4 W LED source offers an average lifespan of 50,000 hours and a CRI90 colour rendering index, ensuring faithful colour reproduction. The Dim-2-Warm system allows the colour temperature to be varied between 1800 and 2700 K, either continuously or in set steps (5%, 20%, 45%, 100%), making it easy to transition from an intimate, atmospheric setting to a brighter light. Charging is via a 1.5 m USB/USB-C cable with a switch on the base; the lamp comes complete with two rechargeable and replaceable batteries. Battery life varies according to the brightness level selected: at maximum intensity (100%) the autonomy is approximately 5 hours, while at the lowest setting (5%) it extends to around 32 hours. The power cord measures 2500 mm in length, with compatibility guaranteed for EU, AUD, USA, UK and JAP systems.
