Louis Poulsen PH 6½-6 Suspension Lamp LED Dimmable

Louis Poulsen PH 6½-6 is an iconic dimmable LED suspension lamp designed according to the four-reflective-screen system developed by Louis Poulsen in 1931. Redesigned in 1979 by two Danish architects for the Charlottenborg exhibition building in Copenhagen, the PH 6½-6 features a small blue anti-glare disc in drawn aluminium — an immediately recognisable detail that definitively solves the glare problem while ensuring uniform and comfortable light distribution. The screens are crafted in pulled aluminium with a satin finish, painted white, and the arms are in coloured curved aluminium, resulting in an aesthetically refined product consistent with the great tradition of Scandinavian design.

The Louis Poulsen PH 6½-6 is designed for environments that require high-quality general lighting over large surfaces: it is an ideal centrepiece in a living room with very high ceilings, as well as in museums, exhibition halls and prestigious architectural spaces. Most of the light is directed downward, while a significant portion is diffused horizontally to illuminate walls and shelves with softness. With a diameter of 650 mm and a total height of 500 mm, weighing 8 kg, the lamp features a 4000 mm power cord with canopy included. The light source is a 96W LED with a universal input voltage of 100–240 V, compatible with the main international standards (EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP), protection degree IP20, and insulation class I. Dimming is achieved via a DALI system, with driver included. Four configurations are available: 96W 2700K dimmable DALI LED with internal driver, 96W 2700K dimmable DALI LED with external driver, 96W 3000K dimmable DALI LED with internal driver, and 96W 3000K dimmable DALI LED with external driver. The Wireless Bluetooth 2700K and 3000K versions with internal driver are also available on request.
