Louis Poulsen PH 3/3 Pendant Centenary Edition

In 1926, 100 years ago, Poul Henningsen invented the iconic three-shade system, later known as the PH System. The shades were shaped according to a natural logarithmic curve, allowing the creation of a lamp capable of distributing light in soft layers while being completely glare-free. The shades followed a precise mathematical numerical structure, offering endless combinations to meet different lighting requirements.

The PH 3/3 features an amber-coloured upper shade and white opal lower shades. It is crafted in aged brass with a brown textile cord, emphasizing its vintage appearance and aesthetic. Like the original design from 1926, the lamp features decorative knurled thumb screws that allow adjustment of the light source position. The shade holders are also made of aged brass.
