Louis Poulsen PH 3/3 Aged Brass

The PH 3/3, originally designed around 1926 by Poul Henningsen, is described as a “full-size” lamp, consisting of a top shade of approximately 30 cm, with the middle and lower shades scaled in a 3:2:1 ratio. This type of PH lamp is specifically designed to be glare-free, making it particularly suitable for higher placements, where it combines high-quality illumination with a welcoming atmosphere.

The PH 3/3 Aged Brass emits a comfortable, diffused, and glare-free light, reflecting Henningsen’s signature three-shade system. The middle and lower shades are made from hand-blown, triple-layered white opal glass—glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inside. The top brass shade has a white-painted inner surface, which provides gentle, downward-directed light.

Please note that the aged brass has been lacquered to ensure that its finish remains unchanged over time. The height of the light source can be adjusted by approximately 40 mm, depending on the type of light bulb used.
