Louis Poulsen PH 3-2½ Wall is an outdoor wall lamp designed by Poul Henningsen, introduced in 2005 as an evolution of the iconic PH hybrid system. Crafted in stainless steel with a black powder-coated finish, this lamp is defined by its three-shade reflective system: the upper shade of approximately 30 cm belongs to the PH 3 series, while the intermediate and lower shades are taken from the 2½ model, giving the fixture its distinctive hybrid character. The inner surfaces of the shades are painted matt white, ensuring that light is distributed evenly and comfortably, directed predominantly downward. The lamp uses an E26-E27 lampholder, compatible with light sources up to 60 W, and features a universal voltage input of 100-240 V, compatible with all major international electrical standards.

With an IP44 protection rating and insulation class I, the PH 3-2½ Wall is engineered to withstand outdoor conditions, making it an ideal choice for outdoor spaces such as facades, porches, entrances and terraces — bringing timeless Scandinavian design to any exterior setting. The construction reflects meticulous material selection: the upper and intermediate/lower shades are made of pulled stainless steel, the shade holder is die-formed glass, the wall box and its cover are die-cast and pulled aluminium respectively, and the arm is stainless steel. The lamp measures 283 mm in width, 239 mm in height and 336 mm in length, with a weight of 2.4 kg — a substantial yet well-proportioned presence. The mounting system includes a terminal block rated 1x3x2.5 mm², with lower and rear cable entries for cables of 10-14.5 mm, and supports looping connections up to 3x1.5 mm², facilitating straightforward in-series installation.
