Louis Poulsen PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass

The PH 2/2 Luna lamp, originally designed in the 1930s, is not only an excellent reading lamp but also emits a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for when the day comes to an end—just as its designer Poul Henningsen intended. With a new lacquered aged brass frame, the lamp maintains its unique appearance which, combined with the characteristic curvature of the stem, creates a distinctive expression that enhances both modern and classic interiors with its understated elegance.

The PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass features Henningsen’s classic three-shade system with white opal mouth-blown glass, glossy on the outside and sandblasted matte on the inside, ensuring perfect downward lighting and a softly diffused glow. Note that the brass has been lacquered to ensure the finish remains unchanged over time. The adjustable upper section allows the head to tilt 45 degrees to the right or left by rotating the shade holder and tightening the screw.

The shades of the PH 2/2 Luna Aged Brass are made of triple-layered mouth-blown white opal glass, while the lower diffuser is made of frosted glass. The socket, shade holder, stem, base, and switch are crafted from lacquered aged brass with fine detailing. It comes with a 2.5-meter black fabric cord and a switch integrated into the aged brass base.
