Louis Poulsen PH 1/1 Chandelier Centenary Limited Edition

In 1926, 100 years ago, Poul Henningsen invented the iconic three-shade system, later known as the PH System. The shades were modeled according to a natural logarithmic curve, which allowed for the creation of a lamp that could distribute light in soft layers and was completely glare-free. The shades followed a precise mathematical numerical structure that offered infinite combinations to suit different lighting needs.

The PH 1/1 Chandelier, originally known as the Bombardement Chandelier, was featured in the Poulsen catalog from 1933 until the mid-1960s. It was designed to be produced in different versions, making it possible to create chandeliers with multiple arms. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the PH System, Louis Poulsen is reintroducing the PH 1/1 Chandelier in 2026 in 3, 6, or 9-arm versions, with a special antique brass finish and dusty terracotta-colored glass.

The PH 1/1 Chandelier Centenary Edition is a Limited Edition available in a limited number. Each piece bears the PH signature and a unique production number engraved on the central brass body.

- Materials: Four-layer mouth-blown glass, polished on the outside and sandblasted on the inside. Suspension and body in aged brass with lacquer. Identification number engraved inside the socket housing.

- Mounting: Suspension type: Dark brown fabric cable 3x0.75 mm². Ceiling rose: yes. Cable length: 4 m.

- Class: IP20 protection degree.
