Louis Poulsen Patera led suspension lamp

The Louis Poulsen Patera LED is a suspension lamp of remarkable mathematical precision, designed by Øivind Slaatto for the Danish brand Louis Poulsen. Its structure is composed of a series of diamond-shaped cells, each formed by right angles, creating a characteristic and captivating interplay of light and shadow. The shade is crafted from cut satin PVC sheet, while the suspension is made of satin chromed aluminium and die-cast acrylic, with a white satin finish. Every piece is handmade by specialist craftspeople, ensuring consistently high quality.

The Patera LED is designed for environments where both light quality and the visual impact of the fixture are equally important. It is an ideal choice for the living room or statement spaces, where its sculptural presence combines with a glare-free light output achieved through the geometry of the cells, which fully shield the source above 45 degrees. The lamp emits direct light both downward and upward simultaneously, also illuminating the ceiling and enhancing the atmosphere of the surrounding space. The integrated LED source is dimmable and compatible with DALI control systems and, in the larger versions, also Bluetooth. The Patera is available in three diameters: Ø450 mm with a 42W LED (available in 2700K or 3000K, DALI control), Ø600 mm with a 65W LED (available in 2700K or 3000K, DALI or Bluetooth control), and Ø900 mm with a 96W LED (available in 2700K or 3000K, DALI or Bluetooth control). The power cord is 4000 mm long and adjustable, and the ceiling canopy is included. The degree of protection is IP20, the insulation class is Class I, and the lamp is compatible with the main international voltage standards: EU, Australia, USA, UK and Japan.
