Louis Poulsen Panthella 250 V3 Portable battery lamp

Originally designed in 1971 by Verner Panton, Panthella is still a design icon that preserves its original design. The Panthella 250 Portable is a new addition to the collection that allows easy placement on windowsills, shelves or tables. It can be charged with an included USB cable, and the battery can be replaced at the end of its life for long-term use. When fully charged it provides about 5.5 hours of light at maximum intensity (100%) and up to 79 hours at 10% intensity. It also has a nut at the top of the reflector that allows you to adjust and turn the light on or off.

Panthella is available in a wide range of finishes, with opal or opaque screen:

• Opal screen: It spreads a soft, even light by diffusing a warm glow throughout the room. This makes it particularly suitable for living spaces or areas where gentle ambient light is needed.
• Opaque screen: Designed to direct light directly downward, the opaque screen provides more centered lighting. The white interior shading reflects light throughout the structure creating a refined yet functional lighting effect, perfect for reading corners or work spaces.

CONCEPT - The lamp has a translucent white opal screen that provides diffused ambient light by directing some of the light downward onto the base, which is designed to reflect light upward.

MATERIALS - Injection-molded acrylic or polycarbonate screen. ABS or injection-molded base and housing. Injection-molded opal polycarbonate diffuser.
