Louis Poulsen NJP Wall Box Short Arm is a LED wall lamp designed by Japanese design studio Nendo and designer Oki Sato: a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic architect's lamp, defined by a simple, direct aesthetic that is meticulously considered in every detail. The arms, lamp head and wall box are all crafted in aluminium, with anodized aluminium joints, delivering a clean and durable formal result. The Wall Box version introduces a fully integrated wall box to the NJP collection, housing the LED driver and ensuring a neat, discreet installation.

Designed for environments that demand precision and visual comfort, the NJP Wall Box Short Arm is the ideal solution for the office or home desk, where light quality makes all the difference. The luminaire provides direct, glare-free horizontal light, while reflecting part of the light via the back of the head to illuminate the uppermost section of the arm. The ergonomic design of the head optimises the direction of the light beam, while a simple mechanical system ensures great freedom of movement, allowing the light to always be positioned exactly where needed. The inside of the shade is painted white to enhance light output. The integrated 10 W LED source, with a universal input of 100–240 V, is compatible with electrical systems in the EU, UK, USA, Australia and Japan thanks to interchangeable plugs included in the package. The lamp is dimmable from 15 to 100% via the switch integrated into the lamp head, and features a programmable timer function with automatic shut-off at 4 or 8 hours, as well as a function to maintain a constant lighting level every time the lamp is reconnected to the power supply. The short arm measures 296 mm in length. It is available with an exposed cable (black or white plastic cable, 3.3 metres long) or without an exposed cable using a wall bracket for mounting. Available finishes are White, Black and Light Grey, all powder coated. Insulation class II, protection rating IP20.
