Louis Poulsen Albertslund outdoor wall lamp

The Albertslund wall lamp was developed by Jens Møller-Jensen in 1963 for a residential project in Albertslund, Denmark. The lamp is based on the same design: a dazzling ring, three bolts and a Saturn ring that serves as a reflector.

Concept - The luminaire offers a symmetrical and functional light characteristic. The horizontal ring reflects the light downwards, but its position also allows the luminaire itself to be illuminated. The anti-glare ring avoids horizontal glare and the diffuser is available in the transparent or opal white glass version, based on the desired source.

Materials: Body in die-cast aluminium, screen in transparent or partially frosted glass, Saturn ring in pressed aluminum or galvanized pressed steel, anti-glare ring in drawn aluminum or extruded galvanized steel. Die-cast aluminum wall box and extruded aluminum arm.

Mounting: Terminal block 1x3x2.5 mm. Cable entry: 2x rear for cable O 10-14.5 mm and 2x lower outputs Ø15 mm. Looping connection: max 3x1.5 mm allowed. Electronic power supply positioning: Ceiling/wall mounted box.

Class: IP44 protection degree. Insulation class I.

Light source: 1x 100W E27 max for led. NOT INCLUDED

Colors: Galvanized, gray or white. Powder coated.

NOTE: The power supply unit is located in the wall box. The top, wall box and arm have a natural aluminum surface for versions with galvanized screens. All components made of natural aluminum or with galvanized surfaces are subject to oxidation. This can produce an uneven surface finish during oxidation. This process may have already started during transport/storage.
