Lodes Tidal oval ceiling lamp

Tidal is the brainchild of Needs Studio, and is a ring-shaped ceiling lamp that refers to the effect of the motion of the tide and celestial bodies. Its fluid, oval design mimics the movement of waves and the change dictated by the tide, with one side wider than the other appearing different to the user depending on their position when looking at the lamp from below. The body of the lamp is made of die-cast aluminium and two LED modules simultaneously project light downwards and upwards. The ring discreetly conceals all the technical elements inside, thus emphasising the aesthetic value of the object. Tidal, produced in three different diameters, is available in four matt finishes: black, white, earth or champagne. While white and black suit minimalist interiors, the earth and champagne shades offer a more decorative touch, enriching spaces with their warm and elegant tones.

The light source is a large number of high-powered cob LEDs capable of providing homogenous illumination without the 'speckled' effect. It emits a glow that can illuminate an entire room, available in two light colour tones: 2700K and 3000K.
