Leucos Aella Openworked TL is the Special Edition LED table lamp created by architects Toso & Massari to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Aella. Inspired by "skeletonized" Swiss watches — where the complexity of the mechanics is exposed rather than concealed — this table version enhances the timeless elegance of the 1968 original with a bold and self-assured design. The transparent hand-blown glass diffuser, enriched by a white paste color spot, is every time a unique piece: the size and intensity of the spot depend on the master glassmaker's skilled touch, making each example an unrepeatable original, branded Leucos.

The transparent base offers a unique perspective of the light source itself: inside a borosilicate glass cylinder, two stems in raw natural copper act as both a structural support and conductive channels for the electrical wires, powering the integrated LED at 16 W, available in color temperatures of 2700K or 3000K with diffused light emission. The copper, destined to oxidize over time and acquire a distinctive patina, symbolizes a design that embraces rather than fears the passing of time. The lamp is cable-dimmable and compatible with voltages from 100 to 240 V. Beneath the base, a brushed stainless steel plate with laser engraving bears the lamp's name, year of production, serial number, designers' signatures and the Leucos logo — a precious detail that underscores the limited-edition nature of this piece.
