GX24q lamp holders are specific components for installing compact fluorescent bulbs with 4 pins, mainly used in professional technical fixtures for offices, warehouses, and commercial lighting.

GX24q socket features

The GX24q socket is a 4-pin system that requires an external electronic ballast for proper operation. The presence of 4 pins (instead of 2 as in G24d sockets) allows the lamp to be driven with specific signals for dimming and diagnostics.

LED retrofit

Today GX24q LED retrofit bulbs are available, allowing to replace old fluorescents without modifying the fixture or socket. Always check LED compatibility with the existing ballast.
