Kate by Kundalini is a LED pendant lamp with an unconventional design, created in 2024 by designer Francesca Smiraglia, who drew inspiration from the headpiece worn by the Duchess of Cambridge Kate at the 70th anniversary of the English jubilee. The structure, crafted entirely from painted metal, is available in white and gold leaf finishes, with the option to customise the colour upon request. The light body can be tilted by 15°, allowing the emission angle to be adjusted to create different, natural and unexpected lighting effects.

With its generous dimensions — Ø 900 × 870 × 270 mm — and its indirect light emission, Kate asserts itself as both an architectural and decorative statement piece in large residential spaces. It is the ideal choice for the living room and the kitchen, where diffused, high-quality light helps define the ambience of the space. The integrated 65 W LED, with a universal input voltage of 100–240 V and included driver, delivers a high luminous flux of 6856 lm at 2700K and 6956 lm at 3000K, with a CRI greater than 90 for outstanding colour rendering. The colour temperature is available in two versions, 2700K and 3000K, to suit different lighting design requirements. Light intensity is adjustable via a phase-cut dimmer (IGBT-TRIAC), allowing the lighting to be modulated according to the moment and mood. The protection rating is IP20, suitable for indoor use, with insulation class I.
