Created by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell, the Smatrik stool is a fusion of design and technological innovation. Its original structure creates a three-dimensional effect, which also adds depth to the surrounding environment in a play of solids and voids that finds its balance as an elegant yet playful piece of designer furniture.
Smatrik Stool Indoor is made of 2.0 polycarbonate from renewable raw materials using a mold that recreates a three-dimensional, overlapping, and intertwined network. Thanks to a special injection technology, the layers of transparent or mass-colored polycarbonate create a single-molded structure that simulates the shape of a metal mesh. For indoor use only.
