Kartell Smatrik rocking chair

Kartell Smatrik Rocking Chair is the rocking chair designed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell, born from the meeting of contemporary design and technological innovation. Its original structure creates a three-dimensional effect through a refined interplay of solids and voids, adding visual depth to both the piece itself and the surrounding space. The shell is made from polycarbonate 2.0 sourced from renewable raw materials, available in transparent or solid colour versions, while the base is crafted in stained oak wood. Measuring 77 cm in height, 61 cm in width and 67 cm in depth, the chair offers well-balanced proportions and a seat height of 44 cm for everyday comfort. In 2019, the Smatrik design received the prestigious ADI Design Index Innovation Award.
