Kartell Smatrik Outdoor is an outdoor chair designed by Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka for Kartell, born from a fusion of design and technological innovation. Its distinctive structure creates an immersive three-dimensional effect through a sophisticated interplay of solids and voids, adding visual depth and personality to any surrounding space, balancing elegance with a playful aesthetic. The shell is crafted in polycarbonate 2.0 made from renewable raw materials, available in transparent or solid colour versions, while the frame is in painted or chrome-plated stainless steel to ensure full weather resistance. In 2019, the Smatrik design was awarded the prestigious ADI Design Index Innovation Award.

Specifically designed for outdoor use, Smatrik is the ideal choice for furnishing terraces, gardens and open-air spaces with a touch of high-end Italian design. Its compact proportions — width 61 cm, depth 55 cm, total height 77 cm and seat height 44 cm — make it versatile and suitable for a variety of settings, while its lightweight 4.6 kg construction ensures effortless repositioning.
