Kartell Q/Wood chair

Kartell Q/Wood is a designer chair born from the collaboration between Kartell and Philippe Starck, winner of the RedDot Award 2020. The design challenge was bold: to work wood with the same fluidity as composite materials, achieving sinuous lines and enveloping curves through a patented 3D bending technology. The shell is crafted in 3D curved FSC wood, available in Basic Veneer or Slatted Ash, while the frame is made of black painted or chromed steel and the seat of mass-colored thermoplastic technopolymer.

Q/Wood combines timeless elegance with contemporary forms, making it a refined choice for the kitchen and the living room. It is suitable for indoor use only. With a width of 55 cm, a depth of 57 cm and a total height of 81 cm — with a seat height of 43.5 cm — it offers comfort and well-balanced proportions. Its contained weight of 6.6 kg makes it practical and versatile. The range of available finishes and color variations allows it to be integrated freely into any design-oriented interior setting.
