The Kartell Piuma chair, designed by Piero Lissoni in 2016, stands as one of the most revolutionary creations in the brand's entire collection. Crafted from a complex thermoplastic polymer filled with carbon fibers and finished with a soft-touch surface treatment, it is the result of a groundbreaking injection molding process: for the first time ever, a carbon fiber-containing material has been shaped using this technique, reducing the structure's thickness to just 2 mm and its total weight to a mere 2.2 kg. The outcome is an ultra-thin, ultra-light chair that is, at the same time, remarkably strong and flexible.

Thanks to its outstanding versatility, the Piuma chair suits both indoor settings and outdoor spaces with equal elegance, and integrates seamlessly into a living room or kitchen. Its compact dimensions — width 62 cm, depth 54 cm, total height 77 cm, seat height 43 cm — make it easy to place in both residential and contract environments.
