Kartell Lepid bookcase

Kartell LEPID Bookcase is a furniture system designed by Patricia Urquiola and presented at Salone del Mobile 2025, reinterpreting the contemporary design bookcase through a formal language that is both rigorous and expressive. Made from polyester lacquered MDF with wood sourced from FSC-certified forests and partially recycled components, the structure is defined by a contrasting edge that runs through the entire composition as a continuous graphic sign, evoking the spontaneity of a freehand sketch. Precisely calibrated solids and voids create a light rhythm in the space, while the interlocking rail assembly system ensures structural solidity and ease of installation. Dimensions are W 120 cm × D 63 cm × H 150 cm.
