Joe Colombo's historic KD28 lamp, created in 1967, has been given a new lease of life, retaining its original innovative spirit while adapting to cutting-edge technological requirements and using recycled materials. The lampshade has a satin finish to emit a warm, enveloping light, with particular attention to details such as the electrical cable. The KD28 is also modular, allowing several lamps to be stacked on top of each other to create a bright, colourful totem.
The KD28 retains its original design but is reinterpreted with recycled materials and contemporary lighting solutions. It is made entirely of recycled PMMA, with particular attention paid to details such as the fabric-covered electrical cable, which is perfectly colour-coordinated with the base to add a technical and refined detail. The lamp is suitable for indoor use only and the light source is included.
