Kartell KD28 is the iconic table lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1967, today reinterpreted with contemporary materials and cutting-edge lighting solutions. Made entirely from recycled PMMA, the KD28 features a satin-finish shade that emits a warm, enveloping light, with careful attention to details such as the fabric-covered electrical cable, perfectly colour-coordinated with the base. A piece that harmoniously blends Italian design heritage with a contemporary ecological sensibility. The lamp comes complete with an LED E14 5W light source, delivering 2700K colour temperature, 550 lm and an average lifespan of 20,000 hours. Its compact dimensions — 23 cm in height and 25 cm in diameter — make it easy to place in any setting. Thanks to its modular nature, multiple units can be stacked to create a striking, colourful light totem.
The Kartell KD28 brings understated elegance to a wide range of residential environments: it works beautifully as an atmospheric lamp in the living room, on a bedside table in the bedroom, or as a decorative accent in any indoor space. With an IP20 protection rating and Class II insulation, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. Energy efficiency class E and a universal input voltage of 100–240V ensure compatibility and ease of use worldwide.
