Kartell Generic A is the chair designed by Philippe Starck, presented at the 2017 Salone del Mobile as part of the Generic family — a collection conceived with the aim of creating chairs with essential, universal lines that adapt to any environment. The Generic A model, which refers to the Administration world, is made of modified, mass-colored polypropylene, available in 5 color variants. Its compact dimensions — height 79 cm, width 52.5 cm, depth 52 cm, seat height 46 cm — and a light weight of 3.3 kg make it easy to move and stack. It differs from the Generic C version, designed for bars, restaurants, and public spaces.

Thanks to its durability and versatility, the Generic A is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, making it an ideal choice for the office and for outdoor settings.
