Kartell Gastone folding cart

Kartell Gastone is the folding cart designed in 1991 by Antonio Citterio in collaboration with Oliver Löw for Kartell: a timeless piece that combines practicality and contemporary design in an elegant, functional form. The top is made of fiberglass-filled nylon with a scratch-resistant finish, while the wheels — a distinctive formal element — ensure smooth and functional mobility. The steel frame is available in two variants: chrome-plated or matte soft-touch painted, both with painted die-cast aluminium feet.

Gastone adapts effortlessly to a variety of domestic settings, making it an ideal addition to the living room or the kitchen. When folded, it reaches just 23 cm in depth, allowing for convenient, space-saving storage. Open dimensions are 70 cm in height, 68 cm in width and 62 cm in depth, with a total weight of 10 kg. Designed for indoor use, it can also be used outdoors as long as it is stored inside when not in use, to protect its quality over time.
