Kartell FL/Y suspension led lamp

Kartell FL/Y is an iconic LED suspension lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2002 for Kartell. Its structure in recycled PMMA, available in batch-dyed, painted or metallic versions, gives the diffuser a luminous transparency reminiscent of a sparkling soap bubble. The shade is deliberately not perfectly hemispherical: the secant plane is positioned below the diameter's height, allowing it to gather and direct light downwards more effectively. With a 52 cm diameter and a height of 33 cm, this version represents the medium size of the FL/Y family.

Perfect for enhancing the living room or the kitchen with a touch of colour and lightness, the FL/Y also lends itself to group installations for striking chromatic compositions. The included E27 12 W LED light source delivers warm light at 2700 K, a luminous flux of 1350 lm, CRI80 colour rendering and an average lifespan of 20,000 hours. The adjustable suspension cable ranges from 46 to 241 cm, the input voltage is 100–240 V for international compatibility, and a colour-matched ceiling rose is included. The interior of the matt and metallic versions is black; the Black and White versions feature a slightly transparent surface. Not dimmable. IP20 protection rating for indoor use only.

Please note: the lampshade is protected by a transparent plastic film. Upon receipt, the film may give the appearance of a scratched surface — simply remove it as the last step of installation.
