Kartell FL/Y Small suspension led lamp

Kartell FL/Y Small is a LED suspension lamp designed by Ferruccio Laviani in 2002 for Kartell, an icon of contemporary design that combines formal lightness with vibrant chromatic expression. The structure in recycled PMMA — available in coloured transparent, matt or metallic versions — recalls the luminous appearance of a soap bubble, with reflections that shift according to the chosen colour. The diffuser is not perfectly hemispherical: the cutting plane sits below the equator, encouraging a greater collection and downward diffusion of light. With a diameter of Ø38 cm and a height of 28 cm, this is the compact version of the FL/Y family, alongside the Standard and Big versions.

Ideal for the living room, kitchen or bedroom, FL/Y Small also suits group installations with chromatic variations, creating striking decorative compositions. The lamp features a 12W LED source with E27 fitting, bulb included, warm light at 2700K, a luminous flux of 1350 lm and an average lifespan of 20,000 hours. The suspension cable is adjustable from a minimum of 40 cm to a maximum of 232 cm, with a ceiling rose included in a finish matching the diffuser. Compatible with 100–240V for worldwide use, IP20 rated for indoor environments. Not dimmable.
