Kartell Battista folding cart

Battista is Kartell's folding cart and side table, originally designed in 1991 by Antonio Citterio and Oliver Löw as the natural companion to the Gastone trolley. Its steel structure is defined by a refined combination of metal and painted polyurethane, the material used for the tabletop. The wheels are an iconic formal element of the design, ensuring effortless mobility and making Battista equally suited as a practical trolley or as an extendable folding table.

Thanks to its versatility, Battista is an ideal choice for buffets and aperitifs, as well as a refined side table in the living room. Once folded, it reaches a depth of just 20 cm, allowing compact and convenient storage. Open dimensions are 100 cm in width, 54 cm in depth and 69 cm in height, with a weight of 9.7 kg. Battista is available in two finish variants: chrome-plated steel frame or matte painted steel frame, both featuring painted die-cast aluminum feet. Designed for indoor use, it can occasionally be placed outdoors, provided it is always stored inside to protect its finishes over time.
