Karman Ugo Rilla Lamp with Ceramic Sculpture

Karman Ugo Rilla is an extraordinarily original wall lamp, designed by Matteo Ugolini for Karman in 2018. The undisputed protagonist is a gorilla's head crafted in ceramic with striking realism, protruding furiously and cinematically from a circular base — an immediate and irresistible reference to one of the greatest classics in film history. Ugolini chooses ceramic to give the sculpture volume and relief, lending the lamp an unmistakably sculptural, tactile character. From the gorilla's mouth emerge ironically broken fabric cables supporting three E26-E27 lampholders with unidirectional light emission, for a maximum power of 10 W per LED source.
