Karman Stralunata suspension lamp

Stralunata is the suspension lamp designed by Matteo Ugolini for Karman in 2021, inspired by the shape of the full moon: a circular disc in white aluminium from which hangs a conical diffuser in matt black aluminium. The contrast between the two finishes creates a minimal, modern effect of great elegance, transforming every space in which it is installed. The light source is an integrated 16.8 W LED with indirect and reflected emission: light travels upward toward the disc and spreads through the room in a soft, enveloping glow, with a colour rendering index greater than 90 that reproduces colours with natural accuracy and fidelity.

Thanks to its refined aesthetic and warm, relaxing light, Stralunata is perfectly suited to illuminating a living room, bedroom or kitchen, as well as contract settings such as contemporary hotels, showrooms and restaurants. The lamp is available in two selectable colour temperatures — 2700K for an even more intimate and cosy atmosphere, or 3000K for a warmer, livelier white light — and is compatible with trailing edge/leading edge (IGBT-TRIAC) dimmers, allowing light intensity to be adjusted to suit any mood or need. The universal voltage of 100–240 V and IP20 protection rating make it suitable for indoor environments. Stralunata is offered in two sizes: the Small version, with a Ø 23 cm reflecting disc and a Ø 11x9.5 cm cone, ideal for more intimate spaces; and the Large version, with a Ø 40 cm disc and a Ø 11x9.5 cm cone, designed for larger rooms or those seeking a more dramatic visual impact. Both versions reach a maximum height of 209 cm, feature a 2 m power cable, and are supplied complete with an included canopy (Ø 6x18 cm) and integrated power supply, ensuring straightforward installation without any additional accessories.
