Karman Sherwood and Robin suspension lamp

Sherwood and Robin is the Karman suspension lamp designed by Matteo Ugolini, a sculptural work in ceramic that brings nature indoors with extraordinary realism. Created in 2018, the lamp takes the form of an acorn — the lampholder itself — supported by a white fabric-covered cable of over 2 metres, along which one or two squirrels appear to walk as if on a branch. Available in three versions — acorn only, with one squirrel, or with two squirrels — each variant is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, appearing incredibly true to nature. The lampholder is type E26-E27, compatible with LED sources up to 53 W, and the canopy is included. The lamp is rated IP20 for indoor use, with a power supply of 100-240 V compatible with the main international standards (EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP) and insulation class I. The light emission is diffused and direct, with no dimming function.

Sherwood and Robin stands out for its ability to transform a light source into a narrative and decorative element. Thanks to the compact dimensions of the acorn (Ø 8 × 11.5 cm) and the length of the cable (max 211.5 cm), the lamp lends itself to single or multiple suspended compositions, playing with heights to create unique, scenographic installations. Its aesthetic qualities make it ideal for the living room, the bedroom, or spaces with a natural character such as bistros and restaurants, where it pairs beautifully with wooden surfaces and soft, neutral colour palettes. The diffused and direct light envelops spaces without harsh contrasts, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere enriched by an unmistakable narrative personality. The E27 bulb is not included.
