Karman Notredame suspension lamp

Karman Notredame is a suspension lamp of striking architectural character, produced by Karman. Inspired by the rose windows of Gothic cathedrals, its structure in technopolymer faithfully reproduces the circular, ornamental pattern of those medieval masterpieces, available in gold and white finishes. The white version can be painted to blend seamlessly into the wall, creating a three-dimensional effect of remarkable visual impact.

The Notredame embodies a rare fusion of poetry and technology, making it an ideal choice for reception areas, entrance halls and spaces with a strong design identity. It is equally at home as a statement piece in the living room, where its sculptural presence commands attention. The integrated LED lighting system, powered at 24V via an included driver, radiates light in two directions: directly from the central core and indirectly through backlighting that enhances the texture of the diffuser, creating an evocative interplay of reflections and chiaroscuro. A CRI greater than 90 ensures natural, faithful colour rendering, while the dimmable function — via phase cut — allows light intensity to be adjusted to suit every moment of the day. The IP20 protection rating and insulation class I confirm its suitability for interior use.

The Notredame is available in two sizes to suit different spatial requirements. Version 1, with a width of 560 mm, a height of 630 mm and a depth of 110 mm, integrates gracefully into medium-sized settings, with a maximum installation height of 2100 mm. Version 2, more imposing in scale, reaches a width of 830 mm and a height of 980 mm, maintaining the same depth of 110 mm and maximum height of 2100 mm, designed for generous spaces where the lamp becomes a true architectural centrepiece.
