Karman Bag suspension lamp

Karman Bag suspension lamp is a creation by the design duo Baldessari & Baldessari for Karman, designed in 2018 and crafted entirely in ceramic. Its most distinctive feature is a metal hook element that keeps it suspended and connected to the cable, giving it an unmistakable sculptural character. The diffuser is available in a glossy white or bronze finish, with a smooth or textured surface, offered in two sizes: Bag Small and Bag Large. Light emission is direct, with an E26-E27 lampholder compatible with LED sources up to 53W in the Small version and up to 77W in the Large version, universal input voltage 100-240V, and a protection rating of IP20 for indoor use. The Ø 12 cm canopy is included; the light bulb is not included.

Bag Small features a Ø 21x20 cm diffuser with a maximum installation height of 220 cm, ideal for intimate spaces or as a single pendant above a table or worktop. Bag Large, with a Ø 32x32 cm diffuser and a maximum height of 232 cm, makes a stronger visual statement and suits larger spaces that call for a characterful light source. Both versions are non-dimmable and belong to insulation class I. Thanks to its sculptural form and the quality of its ceramic construction, Bag integrates beautifully in a design-oriented living room, a contemporary kitchen, or a refined bedroom, where its direct yet comfortable light creates warm and personalised atmospheres.
