Karman Bag floor lamp

Karman Bag is a ceramic floor lamp with a truly distinctive character, designed in 2018 by the duo Baldessari & Baldessari for the Karman brand. Its sculptural form takes inspiration from a handbag: a metal handle-shaped element supports the glossy ceramic body, allowing the lamp to rest gracefully on the floor. Available in two glossy finishes — White and Bronze — and in smooth or small-circle textured versions, Bag combines ceramic craftsmanship and contemporary design into an object that is as much a sculpture as it is a light source.

Thanks to its diffused and direct light emission, softened by a panel inside the diffuser, Bag creates comfortable and enveloping atmospheres, perfect for enhancing corners of the living room beside sofas and armchairs, or for adding personality to a bedroom. The lamp features an E26-E27 lampholder, compatible with LED sources up to 15 W, and operates across a wide voltage range of 100-240 V, making it suitable for any domestic electrical system. With a protection rating of IP20, it is designed exclusively for indoor use. Please note that the lamp is not dimmable and the bulb is not included: a milky white E27 bulb is recommended to best enhance the aesthetic quality of the ceramic diffuser. The lamp body measures Ø 31 x 32 cm and weighs 6 kg, reflecting the solidity and quality of the ceramic material used.
