Willydilly by Ingo Maurer is a curved pendant lamp made of high-quality translucent cardboard. The white lampshade envelops the light source and is attached to the cable by a transparent Japanese clip. The cone-shaped canopy is uniformly white, like the cable. Owners of Willydilly are free to create their own “shadow swing”. Depending on whether the lampshade is narrower or wider, the fixture takes on an individual shape thanks to creative freedom. The result is a wonderful play of light and shadow that changes depending on the orientation. If the lampshade is narrower, the direct lighting is reduced to a more discreet light; if the lampshade is wrapped more widely and therefore more open, the light spreads more throughout the room and creates brightness. The length of the Willydilly suspension can be easily adjusted using the cable on the canopy.
