Ingo Maurer Signature suspension lamp

Ingo Maurer Signature is a suspension lamp designed by Ingo Maurer, inspired by the concept of random form — like a cable falling freely through space. A black, elastic circular structure supports a tangle of cables that continuously transform depending on the viewing angle, creating an ever-changing three-dimensional design. At the end of the structure sits an anodised aluminium shade, deliberately asymmetrical and minimalist, emitting direct light via a GU10 socket compatible with MR16 retrofit LED sources up to 12 W. The lamp operates at 100–240 V, ensuring full compatibility with electrical systems across Europe and beyond. With a generous cable length of 4.5 m, the lamp offers considerable freedom in installation and composition. The materials — aluminium, plastic and rubber — are thoughtfully combined for durability and lightness. No bulb is included, but compatibility with CEE energy classes A through G allows you to choose your preferred light source; dimmability is supported depending on the bulb selected.

Signature leaves plenty of room for creativity: the included clips allow you to fix the cables freely, composing the lamp to suit your taste and setting. The shade is safe to touch, and in the set-of-3 version the fixtures can be connected to one another to create unique lighting configurations, from irregular weaves to orderly constellations.
