Description
Ingo Maurer's One From the Heart is a poetic and ironic lighting object, originally created as a wedding gift for friends. Two cables—one red and one blue—twist together under a red heart that houses the light source. The lamp projects light onto an adjustable heart-shaped mirror, which reflects it onto walls or floors, creating a dramatic effect. At the base, two small green crocodiles complete the scene with a playful and surreal touch, typical of Maurer's style. Made of metal, mirrored glass, and synthetic material, it combines art and light in a unique design that brings poetry and surprise to any environment.
