Brass base, mouth-blown Murano crystal glass. Bulb Brass is part of Ingo Maurer's Bulb family. Based on the famous 1966 design, Ingo Maurer's team developed a brass version. The base of the handcrafted lamp is made of high-quality brass. The untreated brass surface tends to change over time, giving it a special character. A patina forms, a surface created by natural ageing. The patina is the result of daily use and is perceived as an aesthetic gain, as it represents a characteristic material property that can ultimately be understood as the user's individual signature.
