When a tape measure becomes a lamp: Measure Light is a wall lamp that combines the functionality of a tape measure with the lighting of a light strip. The lamp is made from the elastic sheet metal of a tape measure. The back of the concave surface is equipped with a light strip that extends along its entire length. Fixed to the wall with a transparent bracket, this fixture emits a luminous, graphic strip that casts an enchanting glow, adding depth to the surrounding space. The unique functionality of the wall lamp allows the user to gently move the strip up and down, transforming the light from a thin, bright strip to an open indirect light source. This simple movement allows the customer to switch between different types of lighting.
