Description

Ingo Maurer's Hot Achille LED is a versatile lamp that can be used both as a wall light and as a floor lamp. Its distinctive feature is the light source attached to a coaxial cable stretched vertically and anchored to the ceiling, adjustable in height by approximately 100 cm thanks to the arched support and counterweight that maintains its tension. The adjustable reflector allows the light to be directed with precision, making Hot Achille LED ideal in front of a wall or for illuminating specific areas. It is powered from below, without the need for a ceiling socket. The design is a contemporary reinterpretation of Achille Castiglioni's famous Parentesi: Ingo Maurer first translated it with halogen technology (1994) and then with LED (2019).
