Ingo Maurer Birdies ceiling lamp

The ceiling version of Birdie LED reinterprets the poetic lightness of winged light bulbs in a suspended light sculpture designed for rooms with low ceilings. Made of metal and tinned copper, with twelve LED bulbs with wings made of real goose feathers, this suspension lamp creates a warm and charming atmosphere, thanks to its 2700K white light and total flux of approximately 1560 lumens. Each branch can be shaped by hand, allowing the user to customise the lighting choreography to their liking and transforming the space into a dynamic work of art. The lamp is compatible with transparent or coloured (red) cables, powered by a transformer integrated into the ceiling rose that supports a primary voltage of 230 V (or 125 V) and a secondary voltage of 12 V AC. Compatible with universal TRIAC LED dimmers, it requires a minimum load of less than 3 W for dimming (not included). The overall height is approximately 100 cm, suitable for rooms up to 260 cm; suspension accessories are available for higher ceilings. The design includes standard E27 fittings, making the bulbs replaceable and customisable thanks to the brass lamp holders, which are also visible in the official images. It is not suitable for environments with high humidity.
