Description

Ingo Maurer initially created Bibibibi as a wedding gift for a couple who were friends of his. The legs, found at Woolworths, were from a stork. However, the storks were sold out, leaving only a pair of legs without a body. The sales assistant did not want to sell the incomplete product. Given the great success of the new table lamp, Ingo Maurer later had a limited and numbered series produced before Bibibibi was definitively added to the collection. It has now been in production for over 30 years. The white porcelain plate reflects the light without glare and can also be used to hold small but important objects.
